
Portabello Mushroom Burgers
3 large porablello mushrooms
3 Tbs vegetable oil
2 Tbs basalmic vinegar
1 tsp dried ground cumin
1 tsp dried red pepper flakes
salt to taste
Trim stems off mushrooms to make flat disks. Make marinate by mixing together oil, vinegar and spices. Spread marinate over mushrooms and let them sit at room temperature for 10 minutes. Heat a skillet to medium high heat and fry mushrooms gill side down for 4-6 minutes or until brown. Flip over and brown on the other side for a few minutes. Makes 3 burgers.
