Apple Filling

2 cups apples, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon canola oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4cup sugar
2 tablespoons cinnamon
2 tablespoons lemon juice

Place apples, oil, and salt on a frying pan. Sauté over low heat for 10 minutes. Mixture will be dry. Apples will soften and hold together.
Add sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Stir gently to mix and coat apples evenly.
